This review is from: LG 10,000 BTU Thru-The-Wall Air Conditioner With Remote (Electronics) We purchased this air conditioner/heating unit to go in an enclosed 20 x 20 carport. It does a great job of both heating and cooling. You need to buy the sleeve for proper installation. After the sleeve is installed, the unit just slips into the sleeve - was very easy to install. We've been using this unit for several months and are very happy with it! I'm a sucker. My first LG unit had a faulty compressor and sounded as if you were sleeping next to a 747...BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA !!!!!!!! This model oddly enough is louder on low speed than on high speed setting. Sounds like grinding metal along with a steady HISSSSSSSS sound.
