LOTS of HEAT and A/C FOR A REALLY LOW PRICE!, July 27, 2011 This review is from: Soleus SG-TTW-10HC 10000 BTU 24 Inch Through The Wall AC/Heater - Soleus SGTTW10HC Voltage: 220 Volts. (Kitchen) I could find no reviews of this machine on the web before I bought it so I will be the first to enlighten you...this is a great deal! I need three of these for my lake house with through the wall A/C and propane heat, but I was wary of the low price - maybe the unit is cheaply made? - so I ordered one at first, plus the factory sleeve (don't scrimp, buy the sleeve). The A/C fits well in the sleeve and it has insulation to keep the sun off your unit and to muffle the noise.
The controls are straightforward and the remote is easy to use. No thermometer on the remote, but it is just fine.
The unit puts out a lot of air. It replaced a '70 model 8K BTU unit and it blows much more air. The high cfms will help evenly distribute both the cold air and the heated air.
The unit isn't quiet, but it isn't that loud unless you have the fan on high. The only noise is the sound of rushing air, so in that respect it is very quiet mechanically.

(Kitchen) I needed a through the wall unit for my office. It's about 270 sq. feet of space with 8'ceiling. This unit fit just perfect in the existing spot that the old one was in. It looks great and I hope it lasts as long as the old one (8years). The price was amazing as it was the lowest price of many and has higher btu ratings than the competitors. Thanks,Marvin

(Kitchen) I ordered this unit for one of our rental property units. Shipping was fast and unit was packed very well. The unit installed very easy in our wall pass through and worked great. The only thing I had to do was replace my 240V wall plug because the units plug configuration was different. It was a 10 minute job With The Power OFF that is.I will purchase this unit again and deal with this company again. The price was excellent. I saw other like units for $800 great deal. Thanks for the quality and top notch service.
